playing catch up

Since I didnt post at all in October I thought I would catch up with a few pics of some things we did last month.
I had a baby shower/BBQ for my niece and had a house-full of people and kids. It was great time and the boys had so much fun with their cousins.
We found a cool indoor playground off of Memorial and had a play-date with some co-workers of mine. Again, the boys had a blast climbing all over the place.
And we met my sister Pam's new boyfriend and had a BBQ at her apartment. She just got back from Ft Gruber after being gone for several months so it was nice to catch up with her again.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. The kids had so much fun. Zac especially loved trick-or-treating and watching the kids come to the door. We also went to a Halloween party at a friends house. We all dressed up and had dinner. We had to leave early because my kids started to have some melt-downs. They both have been really good lately, with a few minor exceptions. It gets easier and easier every day. They are little tornadoes and difficult to keep up with. But they are so smart and so much fun. I really am enjoying being to spend so much time with them.

Yes, my children have eaten mud, dirt, bugs, rocks and many other things I haven't witnessed Im sure. Today started out all innocent playing outside. But, as they tend to do with toddlers, they got a little messy. Well, just see for yourself :)

It was fun though. I got a little muddy myself, so we all hosed off and then went inside for a snack.

But I did make them brush their teeth really good before bed!

I Love a Fair!

We went to the fair this morning, so much fun! Zac rode a ride for the first time and we ate a bunch of horribly good food! They were very very tired when we got home though. ;)

Go, Go, Go....

We are definetly always doing something around here. Today we went to the Omniplex. It was alot of fun and the boys behaved themselves. Actually, my kids were the best behaved there. I was very proud. They have really updated the Omniplex and made it alot more toddler-friendly with lots to do and space to run around. Then this afternoon we played in the sprinkler in the back yard. The kids were ready for bed tonight and I will be ready soon as well!!

At the Mall

We went to the mall early this morning. The shops werent even open yet. We just hung out with all the mall-walkers and I got some free coffee. I discovered it is way better to go at this time because the kids have the playground all to themselves. Plus, all the old people come over and oohhh and ahhhh over my cute little boys! ;)

catching up...

Sorry it has been awhile. We have been pretty busy lately. Let me just catch you up!
We have gone to the Zoo a couple times this month. The first time was with a group of ladies and their children that I work with. We had such a good time that I took the kids again by myself the next week. It was great! They really enjoy it. Im thinking about getting a membership.
Matt recently had his first hair cut. I didnt want to cut his pretty blonde hair but it was starting to go over his ears quite a bit. Chris has always cut Zac's hair so the other night he cut both of their hair. He did a great job!
Today was my day to watch Jacob. We made chocolate chip cookies. The two older boys helped out and I got a couple really cute pics. And the cookies were delicious!
The boys like helping out around the house so much that about a week ago I decided to get them a play kitchen. It is really cute and they have alot of fun with it.
They keep me going none stop but they are definetly alot of fun :)
